Following my undergrad studies I completed my community service year at Khayelitsha district hospital in Cape Town. During my undergraduate training I also completed a certificate in sports massage from ETA and went on to work at many popular MTB and trail running series such as Wines to Whales, The ABSA Cape Epic and African X on weekends. I’ve also went on to assist two popular rugby teams in Cape Town with both on field physio and off field rehab.

Following my community service I continued to work at Khayelitsha district hospitaL as a locum, as I had fell in love with the community and the potential of its people. Whilst working there I treated many conditions such as basic orthopaedic injuries, amputees, strokes, respiratory conditions, paediatric developmental delay and CP. On weekends I also work as a locum at both Netcare and Life private hospital groups in Cape Town treating a variety of in hospital post-operative and intensive care patients.

I thoroughly enjoy treating orthopaedic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation, as each day it reminds me of why I chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Watching my patients transform through the various phases of rehab is utterly rewarding as they ease into their daily activities may it be work, sports or hobbies.

In my spare time I enjoy relaxing outdoors, baking and spending time my family.
