Born and bred Scots, living in Cape Town now for the past 12 years. I have a passion to help others and get them back on their feet, literally and figuratively. With being an active child, I have always enjoyed playing sports, hiking, going to the gym, being in nature, riding my motorbike, socialising with friends and generally just taking life by the reigns and living. I have also been working in the hospitality field for the past 8 years and treasure meeting and getting to know different people from all walks of life.
I studied at the University of the Western Cape and worked later at Port Shepstone Regional Hospital, KZN. Here I learnt how amazing my chosen career field is and my love for rehabilitation in terms of sports injuries, traumatic injuries – such as spinal cord injuries and strokes, as well as general orthopaedic injuries. Working closely with my patients and getting to know them is a wonderful thing to me and helps to remind me every day why I decided to become a physiotherapist.
