Year 2021, October
The famous, televised Cape Epic, finally occurred post lockdown. This time I treated 3 teams, The mad Murray’s, Dimension Data and Inotel. Extreme weather conditions prevailed and lots of “fixing up” to do to get my teams to the finish line each day 🙂
Year 2019, March
I just got back from helping Team Merchants at completing their 4th Epic ride! The Absa Cape Epic is an annual mountain bike ride which has been accredited as hors categorie by the Union Cycliste Internationale. 8 days of gruelling riding against all elements. Loads of excitement and challenge!
Year 2017
Pro bono work (treatment and on field training warm up drills) for players of the Rainbow soccer team who compete annually in the Goethe Cup in Sweden.
December 2015
I was asked to write an article for Wellness Magazine about back problems, namely postural problems and scoliosis. Computers have not only changed our lives, they have also changed our postures!
April 2015
I was a guest on the Expresso show on SABC 3 discussing musculoskeletal aches and pains. It was a new experience for me, being in front of the camera for a change!

July 2014
I have just returned from Zimbabwe, Victoria falls, where I participated in a 2 week volunteer program in the Green Army, IAPF (International Anti-Poaching Foundation).
We slept in tents in the middle of the bush surrounded by the big 5 and learnt about tracking, ambushing, physical combat training, conservation, patrolling and the plight of saving the very endangered black rhino. It was truly the most exhilarating adventure of my life. Contact me if you want more details or Corey Jeal, corey.jeal@iapf.org.
